Lights and Reflectives
To see or be seen. Before choosing lights think about where you or your children are going to be cycling.
Must often children will be cycling home from school at dusk or in a street lit area. If this is the case then they just need to be seen, if however you are planning to be more adventurous and cycle leter into the night, maybe on holiday, then the front light needs to be able to light the road ahead.
Flashing rear LED red lights are best as battery power is preserved whilst standing out from other solid red lights. Think about a head torch as an addition if you are going off road or need to see the verges on country lanes, you can turn you head to look, you cant always turn your handle bars!
